Ajay Gupta

Ajay Gupta is the founder of Gupta Legal Services. Mr. Gupta received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in May, 1997 triple majoring in Economics, Psychology and Chinese. In May 2005, Mr. Gupta received his JD degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Prior to beginning his legal education, Mr. Gupta was an entreprenuer and a land developer. He founded an information technology consulting firm in 1998. During this time, he developed successful business relationships with many large clients including Ford Motor Company, Compuware, and Delphi Automotive. In 2001, Mr. Gupta purchased and developed 26 acres of land in Southeastern Michigan. He developed and sold all 56 lots, obtaining regulatory approvals, securing financing, and overseeing development.

Mr. Gupta's primary focus is real estate business laws.  He is well versed in drafting complex business transactional documents. His experience includes real estate development, drafting LLC and shareholder agreements, assisting with capital financing, handling membership / shareholder matters, and foreclosure / bankruptcy issues. Mr. Gupta currently advises several companies on corporate governance.

Mr. Gupta is an active member of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA), the San Diego Bar Association, the San Diego Rotary Club, and The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE). He also serves as a board director of several companies.
